SALE

As it says. Perfect timing.

I'VE FALLEN FOR FLUORO

Its no secret that I am obsessed with fluorescent colours - anything and everything fluoro, I love.
I once wrote a Haiku poem about fluoro colours for a uni assignment. I persuaded my other half to buy me an expensive "I-will-not-pay-that-much-for-plastic" timepiece in fluorescent Atomic Orange.
I hoard hi-lighters at home AND at work. I love writing on fluoro sticky-notes. I am now a TRON fan simply because the whole movie was basically shot in the dark with coloured fluoro lights everywhere. Too far?
You get the point.
SO... you can only IMAGINE my giddiness when I stumbled across the Cambridge Satchel Company website and discovered they sell fluorescent satchels!:

The colours are amaze: Not to be too matchy, I'm thinking the yellow is on my want list!
The dollars so great right now, you can get one of these hi-light beauties starting at around $150AU + shipping. See The Cambridge Satchel Company & get shopping!

Like I said earlier, here is my FAVOURITE daily accessory: my Neon Plasteramic Toy Watch! In the most dynamic colour: Atomic Orange. Get yours here

And yes, they are even more awesome in real life.

CELEBRITY BATHROOMS

The voyeur in me just LOVES peeking into the lives of the rich and famous, especially into their homes: check out these amazing & inspiring bathrooms from some of Hollywood's heavyweights! These photos and info are from the weekly inbox goodness from Elle Decor. Sign up for the newsletter here.

On Set

The serene master bath in filmmaker Michael Bay’s Miami Beach home is sheathed in etched-stone tiles; the bathtub is cast concrete, and the shower fittings are by Boffi.
*

Cozy Chic

Designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard created a master bath for actress Ellen Pompeo’s Hollywood Hills home that exudes rustic elegance. The tub and teak étagère are by Waterworks, and the antique terra-cotta floor tiles are from Exquisite Surfaces; an antique bamboo ladder adds vertical interest, while a zinc garden stool adds a hint of glamour.
*

House of Style

Donatella Versace’s master bath in Milan exudes opulence. A chair by Versace Home Collection is upholstered in black leather, and the bronze statue is of a reclining Buddha; a mirrored wall reflects the vaulted ceiling and patio beyond.
*

A Room with a View
In Ralph and Ricky Lauren’s Manhattan master bath, which overlooks the Central Park reservoir, mirrored and white-lacquer cabinetry—with a countertop and floor of Thassos marble—create a clean, sleek look.
*

Pretty Patterns

The powder room in actor Anthony Edwards and beauty maven Jeanine Lobell’s Manhattan apartment is dressed in a Stark wallpaper; the large-scale pattern breathes life into this small space.
*

Calm, Cool, Collected

In the New York penthouse of fashion designer Jill Stuart, a contemporary master bath gets a feminine touch with a sparkling crystal light fixture.
*

Moroccan Mood

At Dar Es Saada, the guesthouse at legendary couturier Yves Saint Laurent’s Marrakech home, designer Bill Willis gave each of the six bathrooms its own style by employing tilework in an array of hues.
*

Beach Getaway

Beadboard wainscoting lines the walls of the easy-breezy master bath in Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s Hamptons retreat; medicine cabinets, glass shelves, and sconces by Urban Archaeology hang above wall-mounted sinks by American Standard.
